SQE & QLTS Taxation Private Tuition

Taxation is assessed in both the QLTS (Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme) and the SQE (Solicitors Qualifying Examination) assessments and is a subject with which many lawyers and students struggle, as they prepare for their assessments.

In both assessment regimes, the following taxes are assessed:

• Capital Gains Tax (CGT)

• Inheritance Tax (IHT)

• Corporation Tax

• Value Added Tax (VAT)

• Stamp Duty Land Tax

Helen has over 15 years’ experience teaching taxation to lawyers, including on both the QLTS and the LPC. She will work with you to identify where you require additional support so that you can arrange tailored tuition with her to cover the key taxation principles.

Hourly tuition rate:      £170

Daily* tuition rate (6 hours) (50% reduction in fee):      £495
